There’s not much I can add to this really other than stating once again how much I love their #sambal and #rendang 😋 It’s a very mild one admittedly, more akin to a #curry, and I’ve grown more accustomed to the stronger flavours of West Malaysian / Indonesian, particularly Minang, rendang 🥥 Then again, they serve a tourist crowd here typically so it checks out 🤷♀️ It’s just amazing to see how diverse this one dish can be 😇 That said, #tempeh is tempeh and always delicious 🤤 Hopefully we’d see a #mushroom version in the future that mimics what Mushroom Lah has pulled off 🍄
My one complaint? Where is the #lemak 😭 This one nasi lemak diet sial, #santan s’mua takda 😭 You think I eat nasi lemak to be a #healthyvegan?? Cholesterol, blood sugarku dah rendah from eating nothing but vegetables tapi you want to take away the #coconut from me 😭 As 🤌 tagh 🤌 fir 🤌 ul 🤌 lah 🤌 tolong lah 😭
Actually if I’m not mistaken there’s no #peanuts in this either?? For what lah I thought this dish so good 😭 No vegan replacement for #anchovies either like hello even #airplanefood got macam the one from Santan (AirAsia) ✈️ Their #sambal is good tapi not like my sambal is not better (we stan a sambal qween yaszz 👏), cuma convenient to buy theirs compared to making for friends when I travel and want to five them a gift from #kuching 😭

I was having a chat with a friend this morning about gangsterism in Malaysia. According to him (and his imam) all the gangsters in Malaysia are Chinese and the entire problem would be solved by banning tuak production.
