Review of Spicy Beef Noodles 辣椒牛肉面 at VeganPho - Lucky Plaza by xinru-t

Vegan Bún Bò Huế! Vermicelli noodles served with soy 'beef' slices, seitan 'chicken', and 'fishcake' tofu in umami broth that was appetising without being too spicy. (I think some of the toppings may have been non-standard ones, because I went near closing time.) 🍜🌶️ To my delight, this was much less greasy than the one from The Kind Bowl! (The latter tends to come brimming with chilli oil.) Served with their homemade vegan sambal chilli sauce too. My non-veg mum's pick; she even requested to return to this eatery as she said this dish was filling and delicious in a refreshing way~ (She's not usually a foodie, so you know this is really good if she makes such a comment!) Vegan Pho is a humble food court stall in Orchard serving authentic food at wallet-friendly prices. The young man shared that the auntie has been cooking vegan Vietnamese food for over 30 years. 👩🏻‍🍳🇻🇳 They're currently sharing a space with an omni stall but with separate cooking equipment; they're hoping to move to a stall of their own and to expand their menu.
