I was fond of coconut macaroons before I became vegan. Hadn’t seen a vegan version until these. Excited to try them.
The chocolate dressing and base works well to get a richness. I wish the body of the macaroon was stronger in coconut as that moisture and delicate sweet flavour is what I craved.
In spite of that one of these went very well with a cup of tea.
The cardboard element of the packaging is recyclable, but not the cellophane. I’m always hoping they’ll come up with an answer to that.
