If I lived in Shanghai, this would be my go to restaurant. Pure Vegan by name and nature.
Every dish we chose was delectable.
On the menu they have grouped together drier dishes, broth-like dishes, baked and so on in order to make it easy to select a nice combination.
These discs of potato were given a dusting of delicate spices, some with a bit of heat so there was a gentle hit as you munched.
The dishes arrived in a steady flow that meant your palate was getting a new exciting taste sensation every few minutes.
The layout of the restaurant is carefully thought through with attractive woven wicker screens dividing up the space. There is a whole wall of glass looking onto an outdoor seating area with an impressive view of the city.

Me too vimauro. They seem to get a bit side-lined or labelled unhealthy, but potatoes are so versatile and they don’t need cooking in vast amounts of oil to taste good. Cheers to the 🥔 Spud 😻
