First time getting the Plantlove tofu block from Woolies - the only reason I got it was because I was too lazy to drive to one of the Asian grocery stores I usually get my tofu from (they sell blocks for R4, or R5 at most, so super affordable). This tofu usually costs R59.99, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the till and saw that they’re on special - buy two and get 20% off (the special is still on if you’ve been wanting to try any of their Plantlove tofu products).
It’s a nice firm tofu and fried up easily in the airfryer. I also love the protein content.
I would consider getting it again, it’s great quality for sure, but I still prefer going to the Asian grocery store - much cheaper, plus I can take my own containers, so no excess plastic or wrapping.
