PART 1: After sharing my not so great review of Narenj, I wanted to share a review of their sister restaurants, Maro's, located next door. Note that these photos are from Sept 2022.
There is an excellent variety of plant based dishes here, though many contain similar or the same ingredients/components.
It's a really large portion (appropriate per price) and is enough for 2 to share. We didn't know and ordered 2 mains, and took a lot of leftovers home. The dish itself is an amazing variety of different textures and flavours, easy on the eyes too! We really enjoyed the 2 dishes we tried here. Everything tasted so fresh and as the dishes are mostly veggies (with a side of pita), it was a fairly healthy meal as well. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have a protein incorporated, like chickpeas or beans.
I highly recommend and can't wait to come here again.
