I had never seen such large pieces of #texturedsoy #protein before!
I still rinced them before rehydrating them in boiling savory broth (that I use as a base for the sauce), but I think that was unnecessary because they don't smell "cartboardy" like the ones I get home.
So rince, boil and soak in tasty broth. Then pan fry or bake or stew. AMAZING. I cook this a lot for non vegans and they all love it.
This one was with a #creamy #cider sauce, Normandy style!
