It was a searing hot day in the little red dot, but it was the humidity that got me 😩 So, despite my general aversion to the concept, I turned to an #iceblend. #genmaicha just happened to be on the menu 😅

My concern with ice blended drinks is the uneven flavour distribution between the good stuff and the H2O. So it proved in this case, I felt like a slightly stronger flavour profile wouldn't have hurt. The #toastedrice on top offered a nice crunchiness, but didn't add much overall 😐 By itself not a bad beverage, but in contradistinction with the otherworldly standard that their desserts set, this felt distinctly ordinary 😅
