A fast-food+vegan take on the classic feijoada, served on brown rice. Proper beautiful flavours, comfort food indeed. Well affordable too (£.4.50 at time of purchase), a great option if you’re after a cheap tasty dinner that’s also a warm hug. It’s reassuring to know that you can get a hot meal of beans and rice in london for just under 5 quid. Unfortunately they didn’t include a vegan farofa topping.
Fast food chain across the UK with a fair number of affordable vegan-friendly food. I sometimes end up visiting them, especially when i’m a bit skint and in central london. I believe their founder recently published a book on fixing the global food system, I haven’t read it but please share your thoughts if you have, I’d be keen to see how their ideas translate to the way Leon approaches fast food production.
