Review of Charred Avocado Maki Roll at Beyond Sushi by iszy

I love when people get creative with vegan sushi, and that's all they do at Beyond Sushi! This roll has jackfruit crab, cucumber, charred avocado, and black truffle caviar. I've never had a charred piece of avocado before, but I really like what it added to this roll! The jackfruit crab wasn't really spicy, but I did like the flavor. It was creamy and not too fishy. This was the perfect meal to refuel us from our morning at the Met for an afternoon in Central Park. $12 for this pretty big roll.
