This one took a few days after initially trying for me to review as my thoughts are a bit jumbled. I think this is a great product - just not for me. I’m glad to see seed-based cream cheeses on the market for those who have nut allergies but enjoy the nutty creaminess that seeds can also lend a product. I had another sunflower seed based cream cheese before and loved it so I was hopeful about this one.
This cream cheese has a nice texture! It is close to that of Kite Hill - almost whipped and super spreadable!
It is very herby - which I love! Upon first taste I was hit with the lovely combo of sunflower seeds and herbs, but then I was hit with that dairy tang. I’m not quite sure how to describe it but there’s this particular sourness in actual dairy that I sometimes find replicated in vegan products; it just grosses me out BUT I think others may really like it. (I could never stomach dairy cream cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, or milk but I know many folks can.)
I think that is you liked dairy cream cheese and you enjoy herby flavors this definitely could work for you!
