This place offers traditional Czech food veganized. The sauce tasted slightly like carrot and was overall pretty flavorful. The “meat” had a nice texture. The flavor of the cranberry jam fit it very well. The dumplings were not exactly what I had pictured but also not bad. Just more like white bread than actual dumplings.

The part about dumplings is definitely a cultural thing - in Czechia, this is the default you get when ordering dumplings in a restaurant. There are also potato dumplings that get sliced like this. And stuffed dumplings with various fillings (fruit or poppy for the sweet versions, meat in potato dumplings). I understand it takes getting used to.
