First time trying tempeh - I think it is the kind of product that could easily be an acquired taste. It’s something different, but I have grown to like it.
I bought the regular one too (but haven’t tried it yet); the regular one is much higher in protein than this BBQ marinated one (BBQ one has 14.6g of protein per 125g serving, whereas the regular one has 20.8g of protein per 85g serving). I’m also excited to season and marinate the regular one however I want to, but I’m grateful that this BBQ one exists for the sake of convenience.
Very quick and easy to prepare in the airfryer.
Overall a very nice product, it is a bit too pricy for me to incorporate into my everyday lifestyle; but I absolutely will purchase it again.
