Review of Falafel Burger (Veganized) at Miznon Singapore by dafnelately
I’m actually surprised that I have not reviewed this yet considering it’s actually a favourite of mine here! Yet again, this was on the @abillion10 company tab as I got this for team lunch 🤭 The several other times I had this too was either for team lunch or for company events! The #pita as usual is a godsent here, especially since it’s allegedly shipped all the way from Israel/occupied Palestine 🫣 One of the first meals I had when I landed in Singapore for work was the most awful #falafel ever, somewhere around Haji lane and since then I’ve been permanently humbled to find any falafel that is not that really good. That makes this one of the best #falafels I’ve ever had! 🙌 Super “meaty” and just the right amount of crisp & chew. My standards for falafel are actually set by an amazing street food stall in #Penang, https://app.abillion.com/restaurants/george-town-vegetarian-vegan-falafel-10473906 🏝️ I really really ought to push out all my reviews from there, but here’s hoping @m1tch9i gets to it before me 😅 My excuse is that I’m usually too drunk by the time I have one of theirs 😂 Complement to the amazing #falafelburger in the pita is a perfectly roasted #tomato that would definitely impress the #tomatolover crowd out there and of course, #pickles! 🥒 One serving, especially with their free-flow pita https://app.abillion.com/dishes/miznon-singapore-hot-damn-its-free-flow-pita-and-tahini-10130343 🫓 on the side is definitely too much for a single serving, so I ended taking half of this away. Guess dinner’s gonna be pretty great too! 🥙 It’s a little silly I think that this comes served, even when you’re dining in, in 2 laters of wrap but I guess it makes it less of a mess to eat 🤷♀️ I’m just concerned about the bio-degradability of that “baking paper” plasticky layer on one of them #deathbyplastic 🐢 Basically this is definitely in #bestpicks territory, even if it has to be #veganized to #ditchdairy 🐮
