Valiant's Barrie

After talking about it for a while, I finally visited Valiant’s in Barrie, Ontario. I ordered the Philly Classic just to have something different. It was absolutely fantastic. I had to eat some of the sandwich’s toppings in order to minimize the mess when closing the bun. The seitan roast beest tasted like roast beef.! The flavours melded together wonderfully.
As for the restaurant itself, I wasn’t too impressed. I didn’t expect water to be served in a paper cup and my dinner to be served in a paper bowl with plastic cutlery. To me, it seemed rather wasteful and not aligned with the vegan/environmental movement. For this reason, I would be reluctant to return.
