This kit makes it easy to grow a big mess of mushrooms in your own house. You just soak the spore-filled log overnight and then spray it with water twice daily until they are big enough to be full grown, about a week or so. You can't wait too long-- I forgot to take a picture of the mushrooms before picking them, when each cap was about the size of a quarter. I sauteed them using schwarma spices and served them over a Right Rice-tomato mixture. So good! Supposedly the log will produce a second batch of shrooms, so I'm going to test that theory this weekend.
