I always have canned chickpeas in my pantry. Sometimes I'm too lazy to cook dry beans from scratch, so having them canned in my pantry means I always have access to a quick protein source. These were put to good use as a chickpea "tuna" salad. I appreciate the pull tab so that you don't even need a can opener.
