omg. yum.
so in van, on a saturday evening, and it is raining more water than you thought was possible, all you want is a hot bowl of ramen.
boy did this hit the spot and more.
do not be scared of the spicy in it’s name. i recently learnt the difference between spice and heat, so while this is spicy, it doesn’t have heat - which was so interesting and delicious. the noodles were the perfect texture and thickness, the mushrooms were cut in a similar shape which made it such an adventure on your palate both taste and texture wise. the broth was flavourful and comforting, with crispy pieces of onion, scallions and more floating around for s nice crunch. the tofu (by my knowledge) tasted and felt like silken extra firm tofu which was bomb and absorbed the flavour of the broth so well.
the setting of this place is so cool, you are surrounded by window and we got the corner seat with glass on both sides… best seat in the house. this place was packed to the brim and for a good reason.
my new go to. so unbelievably delicious.
