
This meal was inspired by a video by Rainbow Plant Life, https://youtu.be/Pj3GR7b-s7s 👩🍳 I only ever stock stock but not broth so this was a last minute purchase, and a pricey one at that but I was pretty happy with the outcome. While it did lend some of the orange to the soup, much of that was actually from the carrots 🥕 I put in. All this just because I had a can of borlotti #beans I wanted finished 😄 Check photo 3 for the colour and consistency of the broth. I’m not sure how much a difference it truly made in flavour, it was a pretty plain maybe carrot-heavy sip. Regardless, if you’re not counting every penny it’s got a thumbs up from me 😋 #bestpicks #veganrecipes

I save my food scraps in a plastic bag in the freezer. When the bag is full, I make vegetable broth and freeze it in containers so it is handy whenever I need it. Saves a lot of money and containers and it tastes good.
