I was really looking forward to trying this, and getting my non vegan parents to try some! On its own it tastes basically exactly the same as dairy creme fraiche but with a slight hint of oats which I don’t mind as I’m an oat milk fan. It has a slightly weird wobbly, jelly-ish texture but if you mix it around a bit it goes more creamy. I used it to make a dip that my mum always makes with dairy creme fraiche mixed with lemon juice, chopped chives and salt and pepper all to taste. It tasted really good and both my parents said it was just like the dairy version, so a vegan win for me! I think it would work well in cooking too, or with a cake or dessert. The 200ml tub was £1.60 from Waitrose which is a good price. It’s not the healthiest thing but it’s a good vegan product and I definitely recommend it.
