It’s a cute, handy palette. But it’s not perfect. Pros: cute, sturdy packaging, large mirror inside, adequately sized (1in) pans of shadow in a 4x4in palette. The colors are a mix of shimmer/metallic neutrals and mattes (5 shimmer 4 matte). The colors are pretty and for the most part perform well, with the exception of the rosiest color which is less pigmented and can be a little patchy. Most of the mattes are kind of mid-tones, with the exception of one dark brown, so I don’t know how well this palette would fair on anyone with a darker skin color. As for me, a very pale person, all the colors show up easily, but I wish there was a light, matte shade. Without it, I need supplemental shadows in order to make this work for me. I tend to do lighter, more subtle eye makeup and this palette works well for that, but I could see this doing something a little more dramatic, provided your skin is light enough and you just want neutral colors.
