Review of Green Jackfruit in Brine - Trader Joe's by aqualing

Made a batch of spicy jackfruit. This is the ideal meal prep meal, easy to make, flavorful, versatile🌮🥗🥪🍝 and doesn’t go soggily sad after day 2✌🏼. The taste actually gets better with time.
I can’t quite judge the quality of this product since I’ve never tried another brand, not that there are many choices here. All I can say is that the chunks are good size and just the right texture, not too soft but easy to pull apart. Not sure about the brine thing, I just assume it’s for preservation purpose. And I always rinse and drain them really well to get rid of the taste (perhaps someone has some insight on this?)
I only wish TJ makes their cans BPA free. But otherwise, these are easy to prepare and soak up tons of flavor. They’re also high in fiber and low in sugar (0g) compared to their ripe counterparts ;)
