As the days, weeks and months ahead start becoming colder, darker and cloudier, I make warm food to make myself feel warmer, lighter and brighter.

For example, here I made a bowl of creamy oats, mixed with vanilla essence and cinnamon, home-made oat milk, a pinch of salt and some water. I topped it with chia seeds, coconut flakes, cranberries, banana and a drizzle of Silan Date syrup.

I also enjoy having a warm cup of tea or warm lemon water with my oats. Lately, I've been drinking warm water mixed with cayenne pepper, ginger, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar to help boost and detox my immune system naturally.
