Review of Homemade Taiwanese Hamburger: Barbequed Mock pork at VEGGIE on BOARD (Pre Order Online) by mintypig
The steamed bun is a little too firm, would’ve been better if it were fluffier. The mock pork was sliced too thin and there wasn’t enough of it in my opinion. I think mock meat in general Is too soft and doesn’t match the firmness of real meat so maybe that’s where the real issue lies. The sauce is ok flavour wise but it was too runny and thin and ended up pooling at the bottom of the plate.
Overall not too bad for its price point but I think there is a lot that can be improved, mainly the sauce and mock meat.
