Just take note that their claypot tofu is not vegan even when you veganise it. I think they don’t seem to know that qq tofu has fish paste in it

a dish that can be easily veganised at any zichar stalls . Though it is something I personally won’t do but my Dad loves buying out of convenience . 5 stars for convenience and claypot noodles! ( Also a huge skeptic of these noodles but my Dad says they’re eggless)

zi char usually has fish/ oyster sauce but u can tell them to cook it w just oil and garlic!!

My dad is this weird uncle who goes to the zichar stall to ask for a vegetarian olive fried rice with no eggs when it’s clearly not in the menu. At this rate, the zichar stall have no choice but to write up a vegan menu liao...... Also, i had dinner already and didn’t ask my dad to buy food but he keeps doing this. No amount of me lecturing him is going to stop him so pls don’t judge me why got plastic or from normal zichar place LOLOL

Huge improvement in the veggies variety. I guess that happens because of the demand (my dad bought two packs of veganised beehoon!) h/w they do have alliums bcos its just a normal zichar stall!

Got this from the wet market. A big cup (1 litre) of soy milk mix with grass jelly is $1.80. It's awesome that it's opened til late so when I have late night bbt cravings I can head down and get this instead. Downside is I asked and he said there's no packet whereas in the morning my mum would always get packet. Might be because different people manning the stall. I might bring my own bottle next time hurhur
