The dish names here are as creative and seemingly random as the food so it’s kind of fitting 😅 The “Sher” is an English muffin with tofu scramble, baby spinach, sautéed mushrooms, avo, a hash brown, falafel, tomato and harissa tahini, with crispy enoki mushroom on top. All the elements were really tasty except the muffin which unfortunately seemed stale - it was chewy and hard. $26.90 seemed a bit pricy, our other dish (Deja Voo) was the same price but a fair bit larger. #brisbane #brisbanevegans

Felt like I was getting three meals in one with this dish! A random mix but I really enjoyed it. Included kimchi fried rice, crispy battered cauliflower, crispy kale chips, delicious vegan “duck”, falafel and coleslaw. Lovely presentation and the portion was huge. I do agree with the previous reviewer that the dish was a bit oily overall with the *fried* cauliflower, *fried* kale chips and *fried* rice. This is the first time I’ve been since the new menu launched in April and I gotta say Vega’s prices have gone up a lot. Previously mains were around $20-$23, now most of the mains are $26-$27. The portion size and variety of ingredients made it still feel like good value though. #brisbane #brisbanevegans

A vegan omelette by the always creative, Vega Cafe. My partner ordered this and I tried some. Couldn’t figure out how they’d made this but it was really delicious and quite egg-like. Softer than a fried egg and more the consistency of what I remember soft scrambled eggs to be like - silken tofu sort of texture. The flavour wasn’t overly eggy but very tasty and fun to try. Comes with toast, relish, and vegetables. So creative and yet another great breakfast option!

We love going to Vega Cafe and it is easily our favourite restaurant in Brisbane. This was another creative breakfast option: kimchi fried rice (delicious), grilled marinated plant based ‘beef’ (which I think was ‘duck’ this day), falafel, fried cauliflower, and crispy kale with a coleslaw. I’m not a fan of coleslaw so didn’t actually eat mine - though it was beautifully presented. The fried rice itself was amazing and the falafel and ‘beef’ were also very tasty. Unfortunately can’t say I enjoyed the crispy kale as it was just too oily, and unfortunately overall I found the meal to be a bit too fatty. Think I would order again but would ask for a plain salad instead of coleslaw and kale. Great presentation, good value for money and so creative!
