Love this dish! Generous amount of vegetables, tofu and nuts on brown rice. Broth was good and thick. When it’s all mixed together, it tastes amazing. Great value for money. Opt to veganise it and they will remove the ikan billis.

This thunder tea rice is sweeter rather than savoury. Brown rice was nicely cooked, not too dry or hard. just right in terms of chewiness. The soup was kind of bland, and could have done with more herbs in the blend.. So-so. Have definitely had better thunder tea rice.

This is delicious, filling, healthy, and a local tradition. And super affordable at SGD 6.90 Love it. I love the combination of textures and it gives me so much energy.

Was craving some lei cha, so tried this place near my gym. Not a typically vegetarian place, but they do serve vegan versions of their lei cha - just remember to ask to remove the ikan bilis! It was extremely delicious - the minty, herby green tea soup was packed with flavour and they were so generous with the toppings of tofu, leafy greens, beans, peanuts etc!! Also my first time trying lei cha with vermicelli and I liked it!! 10/10 would recommend ✨

One of my go-to meals whenever I want something healthy, traditional and fuss free. I personally don’t see a huge difference between the small and large portion tho, so would probably stick with the small.

My favourite thunder tea rice place. I like their generous portion with rice and various veggies. The thunder tea is thick, and you can add water if you like it to be more diluted. The mint and basil scent is so fresh and fragrant.
