The tofu scramble tasted only of turmeric. The vegan bacon was okay, but needed salt. The potatoes and mushrooms were the tastiest part of the meal.

I’ve been super keen to try out jackfruit for the longest time, so I was stoked to see this burger option on Pink Olive’s (epic!) vegan menu 🍔 I was dealing with a cranky kid at the time, so didn’t get to take a decent pic 😒 nor did I get to savour the meal as I wanted to 😒… nonetheless, it would be worth going back for, as it was delicious! 🤩 really generous portion size, reasonably priced, different to your average burger/meal, and a lovely setting within Stark Ayres nursery 🪴 #greytonfarmanimalsanctuary #veganisnotscary 👻 #burger #burgerlover

Kudo’s to the Pink Olive for their dedicated vegan menu! SO great having several breakfast options to choose from 👏 lovely setting, too, in a nursery 🪴🌸 and a really nice kids’ play area. I love that restaurants offer vegan options, and in this case, a whole separate menu, but I find the options of only soy and almond limiting. Unless that's what tickles your pickle. PS did you really drink coffee if you didn't take a picture

Every single item in this dish was tasteful and scrumptious. The mushrooms and potatoes are well seasoned. Love that it's a kid friendly space, perfect for Saturday mornings #veganisnotscary

Not much on offer in this area of Cape Town but The Pink Olive has a great vegan menu! Breakfast was great. Fairly priced and nicely presented.

A shoutout to The Pink Olive Restaurant in Table View for their EXTENSIVE vegan menu. Four vegan breakfast options and six DECENT lunch options, PLUS the opportunity to use the 2-for-1 Entertainer App to only pay for one meal (if you order drinks). We opted for the “Savoury Vegan Breakfast Bowl” R84: 🍳 Sautéed potatoes 🍳 Vegan chipolatas 🍳 Grilled cherry tomatoes 🍳 Sautéed mushrooms 🍳 Avo 🍳 Scrambled Tofu 🍳 Sweet Potato Toast Imagine only paying R42 for each of these breakfasts (when you order a drink or coffee!). If you use the Entertainer App, make sure to tip your waitron at least 10% on what the original bill would have been. Xx ☕️🥣💕🫒

A super breakfast (rosa tomatoes, hash potatoes, mushrooms and Herbivore bacon served with sweet potato toast) makes this good value for money (mine without mushrooms, of course).
