While I loved the plant balls (homemade using Herbivore soy mince) the salad was a bit boring, they could have added more salad items such as tomatoes and vegan feta.

These were melt in the mouth light and fluffy and very tasty. The tahini that came with it was more of a mayonnaise. A lovely snack.

Very filling homemade vegan patty on a toasted homemade roll with lettuce, tomato, pickled cucumber & red onion topped with homemade pesto & vegan cheddar. And chips.

This was one of the best restaurants toasted sandwiches I’ve had. Not sure what brand the cheese was, but it worked so well with the mushrooms & pesto between the toasted sourdough bread. #sandwich #thecourtyardcafe #capetown #kalkbay #southafrica

The toasted cheese and tomato is good because it’s on sourdough, the chips however are even better than steers and McDonald’s. I’ll go back just for the chips to die for!!!!!

This dish was beautifully presented. It had quite a few large pieces of spinach in which I found difficult to eat as it was on the stem. I think it ruined the dish for me a little. But overall the taste was good. The pesto was delicious. I usually have their vegan omelette which is awesome but they were out of stock at the time. #veganisnotscary
