🥭 gotta have dessert 🍚 This was a dessert special so I wanted to try it. The mango was not ripe enough so it was a bit hard and not as soft. Black Sesame Rice Ball Soup Special ~ $9. On special for the week. The black sesame balls were in coconut milk. Was subtly sweet. It was ok. Served lukewarm which was a lil weird as I had the assumption it'd be hot but when it came out, it looked like it could be a cold dessert. Manager suggested it. She was super friendly and hospitable. I think it's good they're doing specials of the weeks alongside a new menu change/revamp. [This is a throwback.] [Donating to Sanctuario Libres al Fin.]

Vegan Chicken Burger at Sunflower Thai for ~$9. This was before lockdown. And before they had a change in ownership with a menu revamp. Doesn't look like much from a first glance but it was a decent lil burger. Big lettuce leaf, carrots cucumber, tomato, and chicken patty. Would have loved if the burger buns were toasted and crispy. I love sunflower! The soup had a good amount of veg and tofu. I thought the broth was a bit thin but everything else was great. It’s not spicy so if you like spicy better go for the Tom kha.
