Sprouting Dreams only offered two items at vegfest - the Mac bowl and a side of #chickentenders or popcorn chick'n. The #veganchicken is homemade and unique - softer texture and with a #spicy and flavorful breading. I believe she makes them out of mushrooms. Finally getting around to reviewing this amazing #macandcheese from the Dayton Vegfest! Sprouting Dreams is #womenowned and #minorityowned, and the owner also coordinated the whole Vegfest in addition to serving great food! The base was truffle Mac, though I didn't notice a strong #truffle flavor. I liked that there wasn't a fake #vegancheese, it tasted lighter and more natural. The mac was topped with delicious #veganchicken which had a great texture - softer than most I've tried and with a little kick of spice in the breading. The #chipotle ranch was delicious and also had a little bit of a kick, and the slaw helped cool everything down a bit. Everything together was fantastic. A bit pricey at $15 but it was so much food and so filling! Highly recommend if you get a chance to try! #veganmacncheese #vegfest #foodtruck #supportlocal #daytonohio

I am absolutely exhausted. I need a day off. There weren't a whole lot of lunch options at the Dayton market, mostly baked goods. I always enjoy Sprouting Dreams Mac and Cheese. I was a little sad that this was extra #spicy all the way through. It honestly made me a bit sick and I couldn't eat much of it. It has a base of my favorite mac and cheese, Sprouting Dreams housemade chickn (made from chickpeas and mushrooms) pickles, tangy slaw and a very spicy #bbq sauce. It was a decently large serving size for $12 and if you like spicy, this is definitely for you! #veganfortheanimals #abillionlove #womenowned #femaleowned #pickles

These loaded fries were tasty. You get a nice sized portion for $12. The cheeze sauce was delicious and the chick’n is always good at sprouting dreams. I didn’t really see any bac’n on them but it was still very good. The fries themselves could have been seasoned more but there was enough flavor on top!

Gooey Mac and cheese topped with sautéed greens and bbq brisket. It was so decadent and tasty. Good portion for the price and very high quality. Would definitely get this again but I also love their chicken sandwiches. Can’t miss with this food truck.

Mac Bowl 2.0

Same 2.0 name, BUT different updated recipe than the old style mac 2.0 bowl and I LOVE it. Sprouting Dreams now uses #glutenfree and #nutfree house made chikun for their recipes which is so great for those with allergies. I also love this updated Smoked #Coconut BBQ sauce. It is DELICIOUS, and I love the smokey. It pairs nicely with the garlicky greens and my favorite Mac n' cheese! I also love that this now comes with chikun pieces rather than a patty and the serving size is definitely larger. This was $12 so a great value for the size. The wait times for the truck are definitely long, but it's only one person cooking each meal and it's definitely worth the wait. #veganisnotscary #vegan #ditchdairy #abillionlove

Sprouting Dreams also has great #fries 🍟 One side is $4, we got them plain, but you can choose between maple aioli, BBQ, Hot Honee, or Ranch for an extra $2. These are nicely seasoned and crisp on the outside, while fluffy inside. The portion size is usually way larger, but they had sold out. I also like that they're not super oily! I was waiting to try this alllll week! I love when Sprouting Dreams comes to Columbus! (Mainly located in Dayton) Da'Ves has such amazing #vegan chickun! It's all house made and she tries to make everything as allergy friendly as possible, so #glutenfree, Nut Free and Soy Free optuons. This sandwich had delicious Caesar salad, tomato, and a large #vegan chickun patty on a Ciabatta roll. It was super flavorful and fresh. We also got a small side order of French fries as well which were super flavorful. I would highly recommend trying this sandwich and she also has a chikun caesar salad I can't wait to try! #veganfortheanimals #ditchdairy #dairyfree #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease

Da'Ves truly has some of the best mac n cheese I've ever had. Said it over 4 years ago when I was first able to try it, and it's still my favorite today! This bowl had a good serving of Mac and cheese and was topped with delicious smoked and roasted Brussels Sprouts and vegan bacon. It had great flavor and was very filling. 10/10

So I actually didn't order these, I think they accidentally handed me the wrong bag (it was a very chaotic day!) I didn't know for an hour or so later though since I was working my own table and didn't want to bother anyone and its my fault for not checking when I got it. I honestly wouldn't personally order these as I'm not the biggest fan of cheeze fries. (It's just a texture thing with me, I'm like a little kid🤣 ) I do love Da'Ves' cheeze though. She makes the most incredible mac and cheeze as well. This also had her signature homemade chick'n. She wants to distribute it one day! It also had really spicy takis! I gave those to Greg!

Sprouting Dreams makes some aHHmazing food!! The Mac Bowl consists of truffle mac 'n cheeze, collard greens, and crispy chick'n. Oh, and her chick'n is heavenly!! Sprouting Dreams, thank you for making my stomach happy! 🥰
