this is one of my favorite #curries at plum. i alternate between fried chicken & duck (and sometimes tofu) here because #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease and it just tastes better. whenever i eat here, i say they put crack in their food because i always want more. and more . . . large servings of fresh food - the only non-vegan item here is an egg option in several dishes. why? great local restaurant near the beach. #thaifood #thai #yellowcurry #supportlocal #supportsmallbusiness

my favorite part of these #springrolls is the creamy warm #peanutsauce . that, plus they made them without #cilantro for me 🚫🌱 #betterwithoutcoriander one small problem - their servings are so generous, it's hard to finish lunch when you order an appetizer. when Covid hit, encinitas put up barriers and allowed restaurants to serve on the streets. It took away a lot of parking but it is now permanent and plum has created a nice outdoor space. #supportlocal #supportsmallbusiness and a cool bench 🐙

plum is my all-time favorite #thai restaurant. they are nearly vegan - they do offer an egg option for some of their dishes 😔 they have a mock duck and a mock chicken option for protein choice. it's not written on the menu, but you can have either one of them fried, as well as the tofu. i always go for that as . . . #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 😋 everything is so fresh and delicious. the owner also cooks, which is importantly because his spicy scale is 0-2. a friend and i decided 1,5 is best when he cooks, otherwise you can't taste the food. #somelikeithot 🔥 they have two other locations in the san diego area with other names but this is the best and their delivery mar heights restaurant serves meat 😔 #supportlocal #supportsmallbusiness #thaifood

I never order this dish because it has an abundance of zucchini and I have an aversion to zucchini. it's easy to pick around. The fresh basil leaves really had a nice touch. You can see how much was left over to take home in photo 3. #supportlocal #thai #wellfed

*disclaimer* I do not like the taste of tuna or this would get five stars all around. It definitely had a tuna-y flavor. i was able to hide most of it with a generous portion of chili sauce. The pastry cups were perfectly crisp. If you fondly remember the flavor of tuna, you will absolutely love these mock tuna delights. #supportlocal #appetizer #vegantuna

I had not realized I had never had yellow curry at plum before. The flavor was amazing! I think the veggies are potatoes and carrots. They had the restaurant decorated for the holidays. impeccable service & delicious vegan food. #supportlocal #curry #thai Green curry is in the background of the first photo but I reviewed that a week or two ago. Also delicious.

Just reviewing this food makes me want to go back there to eat. The eggplant was cooked perfectly, the spices and seasonings were delicious, and the portions are generous. The service is always impeccable. I am already thinking about what I will eat next time I go. #supportlocal #thai #eggplant

five stars for plum restaurant as always. My cousin is visiting and insisted on going out for dinner. now she is insisting on going back 😁 thanks @dafnelately for mentioning the 3-month rule because i have reviewed almost everything on the menu. The vegetables are fresh, the mock chicken is tasty, especially when fried, because #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease friendly service, and within walking distance from my home.

this was amazing, as all their did. their twist on spinach with peanut sauce. I'll never understand why they put zucchini in it but that's easy to pick out. plenty of peanut sauce and lots of flavor and the fried duck was crispy (because #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease and #veganisnotscary).

even though they gave me regular chicken instead of fried chicken, it was still delicious. I ate it all. I wanted more. The spicy cook was not working so it seemed a bit mild compared to his creations. #thai #veganisnotscary
