Cold Cauliflower Fungus

Sadly this modern Chinese style vegetarian restaurant closed on Jan 15 :( We got to eat there one last time for their Christmas menu, and this was one of the starters. The flavors were fresh and crisp.

Ginseng Oolong

I'm a sucker for tea and this one is really nice. They used actual tea leaves if I remember correctly, and you can ask for a hot water refill. The ginseng flavor is nice and earthy.

Cucumber Fungus Salad

A simple starter but it's light, healthy and refreshing.

Yam & Sweet Potato Fries

Really well cooked - the sweet potatoes were fresh and well seasoned, served piping hot.

Fried Wonton in Caramelised Black Vinegar

These fried wontons are so cute and surprisingly not oily.

Lettuce Wrap

A simple dish but fun to assemble, and the ground "pork" filling is tasty.

Black Fungus Hot & Sour Soup

I really like the one wonton in the hot and sour soup - the wonton itself is delicious with super thin skin, and the soup was rich and flavorful.

Hazelnut & Pumpkin Soup

This soup is sooo smooth, and I've never tried hazelnut in soup before and it was surprisingly nice! Quite sweet though, almost like a dessert.

Crispy Rice Noodle Rolls

These are deep fried rice noodle rolls, which are pretty simple, but they're freshly fried and super crunchy so actually quite good.

Chestnut & Creamy Leek Puff Pastry

The portion is tiny because it's from a tasting menu set, but it's so flavorful and delicious. The puff pastry is really nice too.

Pearl Peach Gum & Longan Sweet Soup

It's quite sweet but refreshing, especially with the peach gum.

Sweet Potato Duo

This is purple sweet potato ice cream and a sweet potato sort of...cream/pudding. Mixed together with the little crisps on the side, it's actually a very fun dessert.
