One of the pricier items on their menu but they definitely pack in more ingredients for you 🙂 #tofupuffs, #enoki, # yuba, #shimeji and a whole bunch of other stuff 😆 You'll get tastier and richer #bakkutteh, but this isn't all that bad

This wasn't exactly as abundant and eclectic a range of ingredients as I've seen people do with their #currymee. It was just a bunch of ingredients brought to life by the quality (and volume) of the #curry 😋 This curry was creamy and rich in its #santan goodness, a rich and filling testament to the #comfortfood credentials of #malaysianeats ☺️ It was a mix of #yellownoodles and #beehoon, topped up with #aubergine, #yuba, #taugeh, #longbeans, #tofupuff, and #curryleaves. Delicious 😋 RM15.40

A nice, hefty portion size for just over RM13, even if the ingredients were generally cheap stuff like #bokchoy and #taugeh and #fakemeat - sometimes it really can be quantity over quality 😉 The big issue here was that the #charkwayteow lacked wok hey, for which there can really be no excuse. Most of the flavour came from the #sambal that they very thoughtfully packed in a separate sachet. I used all of it anyway because I like things to be #spicy 🔥😋

This is probably the one dish from my most recent order that I really enjoyed. No coriander in this one, not a coincidence 😏 Just braised #beehoon and #noodles with #waterspinach and #beansprouts in one pot, and a delicious #coconutmilk #curry with #tofupuffs, #potato, and #fakemeat in a separate bag. A bit of work to put the meal together because of how they packed it, but the end result - lightly #spicy and moderately creamy and wholly delightful - was totally worth it 🙂

This was solid I guess, if unspectacular. The #sweetandsour was the kind of inoffensive, 7/10 thing that you can trot out if you're catering for people whose tastes you don't 100% know 🤷‍♂️ For #veganmeat #pork they chose #hericiummushroom. And they garnished it with #tomato, #cucumber, and the #evilweed. Surprisingly no pineapple! Which is just as well, pineapple doesn't belong in anything savoury, as we all know 😏

They're being severely marked down for two things. One: completely ignoring my request not to add #coriander into the #soup. What you see is after ten minutes of painful disinfection 😒 The #evilweed in fact had taken refuge inside the larger #lettuce leaves, making the extermination nigh-on impossible to complete. I decided not to eat my veg, for the umpteenth time 😛 Two: the bag wasn't even sealed properly so all the soup threatened to leak out. Some did, screwing up the paper bases of the receptacles in which my other items had been packed 😑 The #dumplings were okay but nothing to write home about. Decently sized and I think there were about 7 in here. The broth was reasonably flavourful. Silly leaf notwithstanding 🤮

They quite mercifully left the #spicy stuff packed separately in little plastic sachets, so even if you had less tolerance than one ought to when ordering #spicypanmee, you could ratchet that back yourself 😏 A quite healthy (but not quite #toohealthy) take on the #panmee - plain white #silkentofu plus #waterspinach plus fake #ikanbilis and fake #mincedmeat 🙂 The broth wasn't the most flavourful ever, and this really ended up leaning on the #chilli seasoning for the kick it needed. I partly compensated for this by ordering an extra side 😉 You'll need to ask them to exclude the egg

A bit underwhelming truth be told 😐 Not sure why but these #springrolls arrived a little bit soft/soggy, and then I also felt that they had too much skin and not enough filling 😐 The #chillisauce was good though, I guess? 😅 There's 6 in a serving, I split them across 2 meals 😛

Actually rather decent, this #friedrice 🙂 None of the stuff to please the healthy brigade, this was greased up appropriately so you could really taste the #wokhei in addition to the #xiangchun 😋 Didn't have the most ingredients naturally - chopped up #fakemeat and some julienned vegetables and chopped up #longbeans. Ordering a side dish to go with this is most certainly recommended!
