Nice old school fried rice that was cooked with peas, carrots, corn and mock char siew. Eggs are optional. As a benchmark, I thought it was nicer than the Han’s vegetarian fried rice that I had earlier this week. #friedrice #oldschool

Got vegetarian mixed rice from Hup Seng Heng again! Got long beans, beancurd skin, mock fish cake and potatoes. Love the mock fish cake, the seaweed on the mock fish cake adds a nice fragrant to mimic seafood smell and taste. Think it’s was $3.50/$3.80 quite affordable for vegetarian mixed rice ?

Absolutely love the soy nuggets, generously drenched in sweet and sour sauce which taste amazing with actual pineapples and tomatoes in it. I love the soft yet tender texture of the soy nuggets. I think it’s was $8, give it a try nice vegetarian zi char from a hawker centre:) #veganin2020

Thought I heard it wrong when I was told to pay $8.30 for this. It wasnt at a zhi char stall, just a usual mixed rice vegetarian stall, super pricey for market food? Gravy was okay but for a price like this, I would expect more ingredients instead of just soy mock fish with little tomato/ pineapple. :(
