Lovely brew. It was quite milky on this occasion, they might have gone quite easy on the matcha. Its still rich in flavour. The masterpiece does change regularly. On this occasion it was a Cauliflower, chickpea and potato makhani, with a side of rice. Truly a masterpiece. It’s a lovely creamy and beautiful, slightly sweet curry that’s so full of flavour. Love the toppings of coriander, chilli, shallots and coconut yoghurt too, a playful touch. The rice was also well-cooked and tasty on its own. It’s wheatless and Meatless #glutenfree . also a really huge portion for 12.50: I packed more than half of the curry home to enjoy for lunch the next day. The chai latte here was quite a lovely treat, Sugar and spice and all good things. They use Nemi chai syrup (vegan-friendly) here, which i enjoyed. Although a bit on the sweet side, i love the spice level is pretty decent, compared to other chai lattes i’ve had lately. I thoroughly love this salad, it was really refreshing and so yummers. There is a pretty huge range of salads to choose from, and you can choose to have 2,4 or 6 options. I went for 4, which made a pretty decent lunch. I went for the chickpea salad, a greek salad with vegan feta, beetroot salad and spiced lentil and potato, which was really special, like a curried salad. I enjoyed all the other options too. All of it. Other options include a pasta salads, potato salads, green beans, and some carrots And more. I imagine it changes regularly too? Major allergens are labeled by each option. The Soup of the day on this occasion was red lentil harira soup, topped with croutons, served with Garlic bread and a salad and mustard vinagrette. The soup was beautiful. Nicely spiced. The garlic bread was fragrant and beautiful too. And the salad was as you’d expect. In all, a lovely lunch for £8. Their soup and daily lunch specials are certainly worth looking at. 🥪 We were on an epic vegan food tour🚴‍♂️🚴🏻‍♀️🚴 in east #london trying to visit 6 restaurants but only try one dish at each so we didn’t explode. I failed here and had to order two things as I really wanted to try this🥬🌶️ #kimchi #toastie. This was great too although we all preferred their tofu benny. This had #tempeh jam, kimchi, Applewood #vegancheese 🧀on #sourdough with a scrumptious side #salad 🥗with #mustard #vinaigrette. It’s super reasonably priced too. Their garden 🪴out back is so cute in the sunshine ☀️with plenty of shady spots if needed. There’s plenty of other yummy things on the menu and in the pastry case that I restrained myself from getting. 🫛This was super original, creative, and delicious. East #london has another monopoly on fantastic #plantbased 🌱venues apparently. As much as possible they try to use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Served on #sourdough toast with #tempeh jam (?!) and blocks of #tofu 🫛that are covered with a delectable #hollandaise and then a crumble of #sunflowerseeds toasted #almond and #sesame. I really think they need a sprinkle of green leaves🌱 of top like rocket or some herb to make it pop visually at least. Maybe chive could work too? There’s delicious homemade #kimchi 🥬🌶️on the side too. Yum!!
