Beatnic is a modern restaurant with lots of seating options. You place your order directly at the counter, the menu is available on a screen behind it like most fast-food restaurants. I got a burger, the BCB. It was nice, not too big. We ordered loaded fries to share. It was ready quickly and it was good. Nothing too special, though. This is probably the lowest rating I’ve given on abillion 😢 the potato bun was good, and their fried #tempeh on its own is super yummy (see my review on those alone, called Chicky Chicky!), but in a burger with the slaw… it just tasted really dry. Also, there was barely any hot sauce to this spice fiend’s disappointment. My benchmark for this was Singapore’s Love Handle Burgers’ Hot @tindle burger — since they had the same ingredients, and man…does the TiNDLE one taste better 😂

Soooooo delicious!! Usually not a fan of sugar cookies, but this one really hits the spot 😋 Will say tho, their cookies are pretty big, so definitely recommend splitting the sugar cookie with someone if you’re like me and don’t love desserts that taste really sugary.
