Spicy Monterey Jack Style Shreds

I don’t remember how much I paid, but it was definitely less than the regular retail price of about $6. Everything I buy at Grocery Outlet is well below the regular retail price. I made a couple pizzas with this cheese. The last 2 photos are before and after photos. Although the photo of the cooked pizza clearly shows the cheese shreds, the cheese had actually melted very nicely. It was gooey and stringy. I didn’t think it had a spicy taste; then again, perhaps the other toppings hid the cheese’s spiciness. From a nutritional perspective, it’s a good source of calcium. I would definitely recommend this cheese. I’ll be getting it again.

Everything I’ve needed and wanted as a former pepperjack cheese enjoyer! This cheeze is also one of the very best, with the fine shreds, great flavor, decent texture and meltability. I used this in an enchilada casserole, a tofu/chickpea omelette, and sprinkled onto things here and there. I bought this on sale for $3.50 at Fresh Thyme. #ditchdairy #veganisnotscary

These shreds melt pretty easily and have some stretch to them. Daiya has clearly been working on their product and making improvements. Great for macaroni and quesadillas.

I know we’ve all been Daiya haters once upon a time but they are improving ;)

I loved the flavor here, if you’re a Daiya fan I’d definitely recommend these
