silken organic tofu

Mori-Nu is the original silken tofu in my mind cos it's the first one I ever used. This company has been around a long time! Perfect for blending into mayo, sauces, dips and soups or whatever else! I don't really like eating #silkentofu plain from the box like I can with firm tofu. Not sure what I will make with it next , hmmm 🤔

#ecopackaging I got this only #forthedollar cause it’s a little steep for #tofu and because I screwed up my last batch by putting them in the fridge 🤦‍♀️ So I proceeded to do the exact same thing this time. Luckily since it was only in the fridge for a couple days it did not fully freeze but they were already icicles in there (I could hear crackling as I opened the packaging) 🧊 It’s still weird to me that you need to keep it in room temperature but at least this time I thought the taste was pretty decent 😊 As usual I just prepared #tofuscramble with it for breakfast - no pictures though 😛 #veganuary #abillionhacks

I don't use a lot of tofu. I bought this to make an omelette, which I have not done yet. I do like that it is shelf stable so it won't go bad if I don't get around to using it right away.
