Plant-Based Schnitzel

These schnitzels are very tasty! No distinctive spices that are noticeable, just a mild yummy flavour that pairs nicely with most meals. Spices used are paprika, tumeric, garlic powder, onion powder and natural flavourings. They are based on #soy protein and have a pretty nice texture! It is soft but with decent structure. They aren’t ‘stringy’ like some of the more realistic #chicken alternatives are. It is more finely ground and the texture of the fillets are similar to their nuggets, for a nugget I find the texture realistic. The breadcrumb coating is great, it is nice and #crunchy and on the dry side which is something I personally enjoy. I prefer to bake it for longer than the recommended time to get it extra crispy. The packaging is #plasticfree and made from cardboard that is #recyclable. Small heads up that they also make a #schnitzel that contains eggs, the packaging is nearly identical with the same picture. The product is #palmoilfree and each pack contains 3 #schnitzels. 💵~47 NOK at Coop, pretty good price and it is one of the most accessible schnitzels as well.
