Pizza Margherita

For a frozen pizza is good. Tasty and simple. Good to have it as an option in the freezer. #veganpizza

Finally got to try a Blackbird Foods and we loved it! The store I went to only carried this Margharita and it was delicious 😋 Crust crisped up perfectly leaving it soft in the center! Cheese melted nicely and tasted so yum 😋! Always love basil on pizza and the leaves were so big! I did add jalapeño, cherry tomatoes and spinach for a little xtra veg. Obviously high in fat, saturated fat and sodium, but definitely a perfect cheat meal! Sometimes you just need to indulge and especially on the weekends 😉 Good source of protein and fiber! It's good. Not lifechanging. Tad bit expensive and I honestly wish there was just a LITTLE bit more marinara on it. Enjoyable and crunchy, though!

This is the new brand for me, it was a little on the pricey side, but I actually really like this pizza. I think this is a good brand to offer non-vegan people that has the right mix of sauce, the right hints of cheese, and the overall feel of a margarita pizza.  Even though it’s a little pricey, I would still buy it again.

#veganisnotscary #veganpizza Despite this pizza being a bit on the small size, its taste was large. I wasn’t bothered by the lack of toppings. The cheese was actually Violife cheese and the crust was perfectly soft and airy. Even the non-vegans who had a piece loved it. From a nutritional perspective, its protein and fibre were overshadowed by its sodium and fat levels (for me).
