Organic Firm Tofu

It’s 3 for 2 on all plant based products at Tesco lately so I decided to give their tofu a go. Doesn’t really hold up to Cauldron or Tofoo Co. But it was very affordable and did the job

A staple in the house, tofu never lets me down. Soups, stews, salads, scrambled, sandwich fillers, or baked into a quiche, have this however you like, really. This one’s #organic, and also quite affordable. Contains #soy. #enjoysoy #SoyPolloi Tesco’s Plant chef range is pretty decent. Ready meals, condiments and seasonings, and other vegan favourites. Usually reasonably priced. #housebrand

It seems Tesco's own brand tofu has moved from the Wicked brand to the Plant Chef. Still tastes great, presses really well and takes on flavour from marinades. I used it to make a tahini ramen. 🍜 Love that it's #Organic too! #Vegan #tofu
