The smell is pleasant and not overpowering. However, the lotion itself does not feel very hydrating and it's not very creamy. Nevertheless, I have developed a heat rash on my neck this summer and it has helped ease the itch tremendously! It was given to me for free with a Grove purchase. If it weren't for how helpful it's been with my heat rash I probably wouldn't purchase it moving forward.
