Nanyang Sambal Sauce

Makan Vegan Bak Kwa (rebranded as Vegan Heart) has been expanding their range of products to provide household staples such as sauces for cooking~ 🧑‍🍳 This Nanyang Sambal Sauce is a cruelty-free take on spicy belacan (i.e. without shrimp paste or fish sauce). 🙅🦐🐟 Elevated to be extra fragrant with lemongrass, ginger, and candlenut. 🌶️🫚 Of note, the oil somewhat solidified when I refrigerated the sauce, which isn't really an experience I've had with other bottled sauces...
