Meat Free Sausages Perfect for the BBQ

These are a great economical sausage. It grills up nicely, and although the texture is a bit on the soft and homogenous side, the taste is great. It doesn’t really taste like any one type of meat, but just a general fake meat flavour if you like that sort of thing.

A texturally homogenous log of soy and wheat protein! Haha. But this is a change from veggies/carbs/snacks, and sufficiently removed from the texture of real meat for me to enjoy these 😅 Neutral flavour. Double-wrapped in plastic. #vegansausage

These wouldn’t fool any meat eater but I honestly like sausages better that way! They’re quite soft and have a subtle smoky flavour. Loved these!!!!

I liked this Aldi product and while I didn't try to grill these they were great on hot dog buns and held up well when pan fried. It's got a more firmer texture but overall good flavour and great value.

Love these Aldi sausages! Have been buying them for years. Really like the flavour and texture, and they’re an easy default if I need something to bring to a BBQ or whatever. 6-8 sausages per pack would be a lot more convenient though, these have 5. These sausages are in the fridge section, more recently Aldi also stock a different version of veg sausages in the freezer section that are nowhere near as good imo. #veganisnotscary
