What I appreciate about Larabar is that it was easily available at a mainstream grocery.
There was even a special: 10 bars for $10. I like to climb the Culver City Stairs (photo #2)- so I bought 10 bars. The featured lemon one was too sweet for me - but still a nice snack item. #veganisnotscary #larabar #surgesanctuary

Not my favorite combination of flavors. The lemon and dates just didn’t mix well for
me, and it was a little too tarte. I’ll stick to the other fruity flavors!

larabars originally weren’t my favorite at all, but after my mom bought me a bunch
of them and i had to eat them continuously for 3 weeks, i’ve definitely grown a liking to them. ones with chocolate are my favorite but these were nice. they tasted more like lemon than dates, which i was happy about. the nuts are always a nice touch for texture :) #veganisnotscary
