i prefer the italian meatballs but these Impossible Homestyle Meatballs are a great alternative for certain dishes like stroganoff that don’t want that italian flavor- super similar texture and taste as real beef meatballs. 🍝

I visited her again this Christmas and was very pleasantly surprised to see Impossible Homestyle Meatballs in her freezer. I had heard of this product before, but had never seen it, bought it or tried it before. I have no idea whether or not it’s available in the Toronto area; hopefully they are. These plant-based / vegan meatballs are absolutely delicious!! So much so that my sister, brother-in-law and niece ALL loved them!! I was shocked because usually at least one of them refuses to sample my vegan food. I have to admit that I was sort of hoping that they would refuse to eat these plant-based meatballs so I could have the majority of them. But I’m quite happy that they loved them even though I couldn’t have as many as I wanted. These meatballs were fantastic. They really simulated the taste and look of meatballs. I think Impossible Foods nailed it! Each serving is three meatballs, and they are packed with protein and a bunch of other nutrients. As expected, they’re also high in sodium.  Please excuse the third photo as my sister had already ripped open the bag and thrown it out before I was able to take any photos.  I don’t know the cost, but I assume it was pricey considering this package was from Fresh Direct. I’ve already asked my sister to get these again.

My neighbor bought these for me .. they are really good .. I had them plain .. no sauce.. no cheese.. made them in the #airfryer.. I think I’ll try a sub next time. #veganisnotscary
Impossible balls!! They are super meaty, hearty and flavorful~ I use these to make vegan bagel meatball sandwiches~ I hadn't had a meatball sub since way before I was vegan... It's not something I ever missed but it's kind of crazy being able to have one again, and having the same nostalgic feeling as going to Subway when I was a kid!
