These flakes are well prepared for quick kitchen prep. It is especially useful for a fresh lunch sandwich. #vegantuna
Love how these snuck right next to canned fish in FairPrice. Tasted pretty good actually. #cannedfood #supermarketfinds #vegantuna #tuna #leavethefishinthesea #leaveanimalsoffyourplate
The only kind of seafood that I enjoyed before I went vegan was canned tuna, so while I’m not usually a fan of mock meats, I was intrigued by this product, which I got to try for free from SocialNature! I’m not a fan of faux-meats, as I don’t crave or miss meat, however, I was impressed by this product and it was so fun to try something so new and different! Before I was vegan I loved tuna salad, and now I just replace the tuna with mashed chickpeas. But today, I got to make vegan tuna salad with this product and it was so nostalgic! The texture is spot-on for a mock canned tuna or even a shredded chicken. I would honestly recommend it to a non-vegan, since it’s so similar! I used the other half of the van to make a noicois French style salad, which was good too. I don’t love that the ingredients include cornstarch and sugar, but I appreciate the protein content. Overall, I enjoyed the nostalgia and authenticity of this product! #veganisnotscary #fauxmeat
I did not like this one. Just something off about the flavor.
