and not fishy tasting. However, I now mostly use it to make dried beans from scratch. I read on multiple websites that adding a sheet of kombu when you’re cooking dried beans is great for adding the necessary nutrient of Iodine. But, it also helps to make the beans more digestible which results in less gasiness and bloating. I highly recommend this product!
