Carob Coated Rice Cakes

I do enjoy a rice cake, and these were nice. But I thought they were a bit skimpy on the chocolate. #ricecake #chocolate #snacks

I’ve been a fan of carob for as long as I can remember and really enjoyed this product. Beautifully balanced between soft and crunchy rice cake with a delicious carob layer on top. R31.99 at Clicks.

So, I mainly got this because I saw someone reviewing some dessert with carob on abillion. I had never heard of carob in my life and I was curious what it would taste like, so when I went to Checkers and just happened to find this on one of the shelves, I bought it despite not really being a rice cake person. Having tasted this now, I quite like the carob. It tastes a lot like chocolate and the coating was not too sweet (just the way I like it). As for the rice cake, it was just boring to me, and I wish there was more carob coating as it was kind of thin. I wouldn't buy this again because it was just an experimental buy, but I definitely would not mind having some other product with carob again.

Oh my word these are literally to die for! So decadent and delicious, if i dont stop myself i could finish a whole bag in one sitting.
